Eliminate those annoying YouTube ads!
If you’re like me, YouTube is a primary source of watching shows and news. Right alongside things like Netflix and Hulu. One thing I’ve always had a distaste for is the ads. However, here the other night while stumbling through the internet, I found a command that has eliminated these post-reel ads from the videos I’ve been watching! While there are other methods and extensions that can be attached to browsers, this is just one neat way I’ve come across that works just as well.
Here are the steps:
- Navigate to any YouTube video
- Open the developer console by using Ctrl-Shift-J for Chrome or Ctrl-Shift-K for Firefox
- Enter the following code: document.cookie=”VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE=oKckVSqvaGw; path=/; domain=.youtube.com”;window.location.reload();
Bada bing, bada boom. YouTube ads are a thing of the past and no extensions used!
